LESSON PLAN (Too And Enough)

Indikator
Berbagai bentuk dan ungkapan ungkapan Too/Enough yang digunakan dengan tepat.

I. Tujuan Pembelajaran
a.       Dengan metode tanya jawab, siswa dapat mendiskripsikan penggunaan ungkapan Too/Enough
b.      Dengan metode diskusi, siswa dapat memahami penggunaan ungkapanToo/Enough
c.       Dengan metode penugasan, siswa dapat menggunakan berbagai bentuk dan ungkapan Too/Enough

II. Materi Pembelajaran
Constructions with TOO and ENOUGH
1.      Too (Too Show a less or more than normal condition/ situation)
a.       Too followed by adjective
Ex : The coffee is hot. I cannot drink it.
ð  The coffee is too hot for me to drink.
The Spanner is very big. The Nut is not.
ð  The Spanner is too big for the Nut.
Note : “TOO” (= Terlalu) is used to show unsuitability/incapability.
b.      Too followed by adverb of manner
Ex :  The professor speaks too fast to understand
       That child spoke too softy to hear
c.       Too followed by many or much
Ex : There is too much work to finish in an hour.
       I have too many letters to replay it two days.
2.      Adjective + enough
Ex : The pipe is flexible, therefore we can bend it.
ð  The pipe is flexible enough (for us)  to bend.
The Spanner is big. The Nut is also big.
ð  The Spanner is big enough for  The Nut.
Note : “Enough” (= Cukup/pas) is used to show suitability/ capability.

a)      Guru memberikan salam kepada siswa

c)      Guru Memberikan motivasi siswa dengan memberi pertanyaan tengenai  Adjective
d)     Guru menyampaikan materi yang akan dibahas dan tujuan pembelajaran.
B.     Kegiatan Inti :
1)   Explorasi
a)    Guru memberikan contoh kalimat tentang Too” danEnough”
b)   Siswa dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok
c)    Guru memberi contoh kalimat kemudian siswa menentukan pola kalimat dengan tepat
2)   Elaborasi
a)    Siswa berdiskusi berdiskusi menentukan pola kalimat tentang Too” danEnough”.
b)   Guru meminta murid untuk membuat kalimat dengan menggunakan Too” danEnough” dengan benar
3)   konfirmasi
a)    Guru mengklarifikasi hasil diskusi
b)   Guru menyimpulkan hasil diskusi
c)    Guru menanyakan kesulitan siswa mengenai penggunaan “Too” dan “Enough”

     The car is too old to drive
1)        The nut is very hard, therefore, I cannot loosen it.
2)        The apron is very small, therefore, I cannot carry it.
3)        The ceiling is very high, therefore, I cannot reach it.
4)        The television is very heavy, therefore, I cannot carry it
5)        The student are tired, therefore, they cannot study.

                                       The metal is not cool enough to touch.

5)                  The spanners are too small for these nuts. (Big)
